Comparatively old pic. Guided by desire to recapture the amazing mood of flights in third really good russian game "Echelon" (known in Russia as "Storm"), where we pilot the atmospheric battle crafts on the background of beautiful 3d landscape and sky (just terrific celestial depth!), I came up with this.

I want to admit that I'm not satisfied a lot with this work because of rough sky and typical composition, and it is most likely I will attempt one more time, at least. But I hope you will find something interesting in it anyway. If for no reason than colors. :D

Painted in Photoshop 7.0 with a help of Wacom Graphire XL3 (A5) tablet. I hate these formalities... :)

I really like the clouds. the terrain seems to be lacking the energy of the clouds though, kind of dulls the image
