Artist's Comments

My last piece of art. :) (Say with horror trash tones in voice :D)

Time: ~20 hours.
Goal: make something beautiful and sharpy, also achieve the overall mood.
Tools: Photoshop 7.0, Wacom Graphire XL3.

BTW, since I have an old 15' monitor there is posible problem with colors and tones. I mean, unfortunately, you can see things are not the same as I suppose them to look. :( Well, if you have some useful criticism I would like to hear it.

Mining Colony by ~Andr-Sar is full with details which makes it absolutely breathtaking! This HUGE father of all asteroids combined with the well painted background makes the piece inspirational for every space artist out there. The rest of this artist's gallery is as good as this piece! Everyone should check him out!

Very nicely done, you said sharpness was part of your goal but sitll looks a tad overdone for me.

Thank you all. :) Will try to do something with sharpness to improve the overall look. You know, it's rather hard to control the big things on 1024*768 screen.

Brilliant, it reminds me of a mission in a game called Startopia, which incidentally, is very underrated.
